Due to the overwhelming number of cats in our care
we are no longer able to take in anymore cats at
this time.

Description: We found “Carmen” standing in the middle of our road one evening during a rainstorm and are trying to find a suitable, loving home for her.Carmen is three years old, has had all of her shots, including rabies, and has been spayed.She tested negative for heart worms and is currently on heart worm preventative.These are some of the things we have learned about Carmen:Carmen is happiest when she is with you, no matter what you are doing.She is eager to please and a wonderful companion and friend.She is an inside dog, but likes being outside when the weather is nice. She does not tolerate heat well even with her swimming pool, so we bring her in the house during the hot afternoons and at night because she barks at the night critters. She is neat and clean and doesn’t shed very much.Carmen is housebroken and does not chew on things she shouldn’t. She loves her squeaky baby, likes to play with and chew on sticks, likes to growl while playing tug of war and of course likes to go for walks. She does pull on the leash at first (she is strong too), but usually settles down after a while. She LOVES to ride in the car and is a real pro at it.Carmen is very smart!Words/commands she knows are:sit, come here, wait, go around (objects when walking on leash), give kisses, want a treat?, scoot over (when in car), kitty cat (gets agitated), knows finger motions for sit down and come here.She is very well behaved.
